  • To ensure we have adequate time to clean and sanitize, we cannot offer late check-out or early check-in. Please arrange your travel plans to check in anytime after 4:00 pm and check out no later than 10:00 am.
  • If you wish to arrive before 4:00 pm, you are welcome to book the night before your stay.
  • We often have team members present between 10 am and 4 pm. If you have non-emergency needs, arrangements can be made during regular hours. You can message via Airbnb as needed.

Property Access

  • Thunderhead Ridge Cabins is a secluded and gated property.
  • The cabin is handicap friendly with a ramp entrance and no steps to enter the cabin. (The bathroom is not ADA compliant.)
  • The cabin, deck, hot tub, sauna, and grill are available exclusively for your use during your stay.
  • The cabin is located about a quarter mile up a paved road. The roads nearby are paved but can be narrow.
  • Paved steep road up to cabins.

  • No smoking or vaping indoors
  • Keep cabin doors & windows closed if you smoke on the covered deck
  • No glass at the hot tub
  • PET POLICY: Please make sure you have read the pet policy, registered your pet, and paid the $50 fee.
  • Minimize noise after 10 pm
  • THIS IS A PET-FRIENDLY UNIT. THE PET FEE IS $50 PER RESERVATION FOR 2 PETS. PLEASE REVIEW OUR PET POLICY BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT BRINGING PETS.

Pet Policy

  • Up to 2 dogs allowed per booking.
  • A $50 pet fee is REQUIRED.
  • Before you check out, please add the Pet Fee under the "Enhance Your Stay" section of the booking process.
  • Dogs must be crated if left alone inside the cabin.
  • No dogs allowed on furniture or beds — an extra fee will be charged if evidence is found.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets outside.
  • Additional fees will be charged for any violations of these rules, including excessive cleaning, damage, or failure to pick up pet waste.
  • Doggy bag station provided in private pet yard and also throughout resort; please pick up after your pets.

  • Complimentary toiletries, towels, bed linens, hair dryer, hangers, ironing board & iron, and first aid kit are provided.
  • Smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher present.
  • Kitchen includes full-size refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, coffee maker, stove, oven, toaster, tea maker, electric hot water kettle, dishes, glasses, and silverware, as well as cooking basics such as spices. Coffee, sugar, and powdered creamer are provided.
  • We provide propane for the grill all year and a starter bundle of firewood for the fireplace from mid-October through mid-March. Additional firewood is available for purchase at local stores.
  • In summertime, access is offered to a community pool about 5–10 minutes away.
  • Portable pack-and-play available (crib).
